Upon arrival, meet & greet by our local tour guide and transfer to hotel for check in hotel after 14:00PM. Dinner at local restaurant
Overnight in Hanoi
Distance Noi Bai Airport – Hanoi Central: 35 km à 45 minute transfer
DAY 2: HANOI HALF DAY CITY TOUR – HALONG (B/L/D)
In the morning, start your half day city. Your first stop will be the Ho Chi Minh Complex including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (close on Monday, Friday mornings and every afternoon), where the father of modern-day Vietnam declared the nation’s independence in 1945. Discover the reverence with which the Vietnamese treat their “Uncle Ho” at this pilgrimage site. Continue your tour at sites such as the Stilt House, Presidential Palace, and One Pillar Pagoda. Then drive to the Temple of Literature, built in honor of Confucius by Emperor Ly Thanh Tong in 1070 - Vietnam's first university, for a touch of history. Then visit Hoan Kiem Lake (Sword Lake) and Ngoc Son Temple with Sunrise Bridge. After lunch, depart to Halong Bay. Arrival Halong, check in hotel, the rest of day is at your own leisure. Dinner at local restaurant

Distance Hanoi – Halong: 165km à 4 hour transfer included break time on the way
DAY 3: HALONG – HANOI (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we start enjoying 3 - 4 hour boat trip. We walk into the Thien Cung cave (Heaven Palace cave) to see thousands of stalactites and stalagmites colored by hundreds of neon lights. After 1 hour stay in the “Heaven Palace”, we are back to the boat for cruising along the World Nature Heritage part to see the Incense Bowl islet, Cock fighting islets Sail islet, Turtle island…. A delicious seafood lunch will be served when we are completely relax on boat. We are both having seafood and seeing the wonderful sightseeing outside. At 12:00 at noon, we finish our boat trip and back to our vehicle for transferring to Hanoi with stopovers at Ceramic and Hand Embroidery Workshop en route. At around 18:00PM we will be back to Hanoi. Evening highlight will be a Water Puppet Performance – the unique form of Vietnamese art derived from wet rice civilization of South East Asia. Dinner at restaurant

Day 2
SEMBALUN - CRATER RIM

Breakfast at homestay

Pick up at 630am and transfer to starting point

Register at Rinjani Information Centre in Sembalun Lawag with your mountain guide / porters

Begin you gentle ascent walking through open grassland to Pos 1 Pemantauan (1,300m) rest and enjoy the summit views of Mt. Rinjani from here.

After rest onto Pos 2 Tengengean (1,500 m) about 1 hour walk up from Pos 1 Pemantuan than on another 1,5 hours to Pos 3 Pada Balong (1,800 m), reach this point around 1 pm.

Rest and Lunch , After lunch continue the trek up to Sembalun Crater Rim (2,639m), this is the 3,5 hours climb amidst the pine-like Casuarinas species locally known as Cemara, perhaps seeing evidence of wild pigs and the long-tailed grey macaque monkeys along the trek to the camp site at Plawangan Sembalun (Sembalun crater rim 2,639 m).

Reach the camp site around 5pm, set up the tent and enjoy the views of the crater rim.

Dinner served at the camp site, rest and preparing your self to early wake up for the trek to the Summit on the following day.
Day 3
CRATER RIM - SUMMIT - SEGARA ANAK LAKE

Wake up early morning and start the trek at 03:00 AM to the summit (3,726 m), a hard trek trail on volcanic screens, some part are steep and loose sands. It takes around 3 hours to reach the summit. Once there, enjoy proud feelings of satisfaction and the amazing sunrise views across the Wallace Line to Bali, Mt. Agung and Sumbawa.

Stay at the summit 30 minutes to 1 hour to enjoy the views around and than going down to the campsite Sembalun crater rim through same route. After breakfast, proceed to go down to the lake (Segara Anak Lake, 2000m). It takes two to three hours walk down through the steep trail to the crater's lake. Enjoy the lake, swimming and exploring the pilgrimage hot springs, believed to have healing powers, while your porters preparing for lunch.

Day 4
SEGARA ANAK LAKE - SENARU CRATER RIM - SENARU VILLAGE

·After breakfast, leave the lake and trek up to Plawangan Senaru (Senaru Crater Rim 2,461 m) it takes 2 - 3 hours trek up to crater rim senaru, upon arrive in crater rim senaru enjoy the views around and the lake from the other side.

Afterward prefer to descend one hour to Cemara Lima and from Cemara Lima descend down the long trail to Senaru village (601 m), through thick tropical forests rich in flora, bird life and a variety of butterflies.

You might see orchid and, if lucky, the rare black ebony leaf monkey, known locally as lutung. Rest stop are taken along the way. Lunch served en route.

After seven hours walk from the rim, the trek ends at Rinjani Trek Center at the road head in Senaru, than continued to Senggigi for check in at Kila Senggigi Resort.
Day 5
